PRIME presentations at 3rd Global Symposium on Health Systems Research
With a week to go before the globe commemorates World Mental Health Day, the PRogramme for Improving Mental health carE (PRIME) places mental health on the agenda of the Third Global Symposium on Health Systems Research #HSR2014, which was just completed in Cape Town (30 September – 3 October 2014).
PRIME presented a Poster presentation on the Acceptability and Feasibility of using non-specialist health workers to deliver mental health care, a patient-centred short documentary film on the integration of mental health into primary health care set in its Nepal site entitled ‘Democratising Mental Health’, as well as participated in a session on the ‘Equity and ethics of research collaborations between high- and low-income countries.
